Farnley Tyas clay pigeon shoot is held on the first and third Sundays of every month. We have a 50 bird sporting layout with variations at each shoot.

Shooting starts at 10:30am. Typical attendence is 50.
Farnley Tyas clay pigeon shoot is affiliated with the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association. (CPSA Affiliation number C1648.)
Farnley Tyas is a small village south of Huddersfield.
From Huddersfield or Wakefield it is most easily reached via Penistone Road (A 629).

The turning (Woodsome Road / Farnley Line) is signposted for Farnley Tyas, and there is also a sign for Woodsome Hall golf club.
As you arrive in the village you will see the Golden Cock pub ahead and on the right. Field Lane is on the left before the road junction. The shoot is at the bottom of Field Lane, marked by a red asterisk in the map on the right above.
You can park at the bottom of the lane, or in the field adjacent to the shoot.
Shoots are scheduled for the first and third Sunday of every month. They are announced on this website and via the e-mail list.
Shoots may be cancelled if there has been a lot of rain. Cancellation will be advertised on this website, on the shoot signpost at the top of Field Lane, and via the e-mail list.
A limited amount of tea, coffee, soft drinks, and biscuits are available at the shoot. There are no facilities in the field!
Private parties and corporate events can be arranged.
